The last time I came across L’Occitane was from the toiletries in the hotel rooms of Four Seasons Hotel Singapore. Never knew it could appear in my room again till Miss MP gave the Amande Milk Concentrate to me last Christmas!

L’Occitane blends both tradition (the use of almond proteins to firm the epidermis) and science (soft silicium to help support collagen synthesis) into a silky, concentrated milk that nourishes and smoothes the skin. Helps to firm and tone. Suitable for the whole body.

Gently massage morning and/or night over the body, insisting on the zones affected by the relaxation (thighs, belly, bust…) by means of circular movements, always from above to down. I’ve used it everyday since last Christmas over arms and tummy areas. I can’t say that there is any toning effect, perhaps they were not visible or it is not noticeable. However, the sweet smelling fragrance lasts the entire day and keeps my arms extremely soft and smooth. Great protection from the skin-drying office air condition.

The difference between a normal body lotion or skin moisturizer and Amande Milk Concentrate is that you only need ONE application to give a consistent effect throughout the day. Try ‘Googling’ Seche Vite Top Coat and you’ll get thousands of good reviews and some even conduct a test among different top coats to determine which the best performing one was..

I chanced upon Seche Vite through pure luck. My mum brought it home for me one evening saying someone gave it to her as the person wouldn’t want to travel with a nail polish on hand. I started using it and found that it’s absolutely amazing! I’ve never used something like this before!

Seche Vite dries instantly and gives your nail colour an extremely shiny finish. No bubbles coz it glides on so perfectly you wont get any uneven surface. The brush is easy to use and makes application a piece of cake.

The only negative point about this is due to the fact that the product gives an instant-dry effect that the bottle of top coat dries out very fast once left open while applying. To counter this, I’ve got to put thinner as solvent to prolong its shelf life. It still works perfectly currently, no complaints!

Prices vary in different shops in Singapore.

Last I saw a bottle of Seche Vite selling at S$24 in Pushcarts, S$22.90 in those nail-accessories shop in Far East Plaza and S$28 in Manicure Salons.

Foltene Eyelash Treatment

When I first saw the advert in magazines, I didn’t really believe that such product will work!

However, at that time, I was desperate for a solution to my balding eyelashes!

It was so bad that there was an obvious “hairline split” on my right eye. The product costs about $56 in 2008. It was newly launched and mainly distributed by SaSa, Watsons and Guardian. Only selected stores carry them, so it was super difficult for me to get one. The promotion then was 20% discount on all Foltene products due to new launch and I got one immediately.

I swear that it works, almost instantly! If you take a closer look @ your eyelashes everyday, you’ll notice eyelash strands growing out gradually and existing eyelashes got thicker and longer!

Too bad I didn’t take a picture for the “before” effect and only have a picture of my eyelashes after continual daily use.
